Maintenance Manager Permanent £80,000 - £90,000 + 10% Bonus Days - Monday to Friday Oxford The Role: As an Engineering Maintenance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's manufacturing facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment up-time. Leading the integration of automation technologies, including PLC systems, to streamline maintenance processes. Leveraging your manufacturing engineering background to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. Managing a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support. Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to source equipment and services. Requirements: Ideally educated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in engineering maintenance management within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong background in automation technologies, including PLCs, robotics, and predictive maintenance systems. Ideally with PLC programming and troubleshooting Experience. Manufacturing engineering experience with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
