Manufacturing Engineers are required to work on a contract basis for a well-known luxury automotive brand based in Chichester. This is a 12-month contract, Inside IR35. Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations for feasibility and cost for New Product Introduction (NPI) of low-volume, high-value products for manufacture. Project management of Interior Trim Centre activities through the entire NPI process including evaluation, engineering / development, industrialisation and launch. Participate in design and engineering reviews - conduct risk-based evaluations of production processes and implement risk mitigations to streamline the delivery of new products and satisfy the defined quality standards. Plan and deliver evaluation trials, prototypes, and initial trial batch production through to integration of a stable process capable of delivering the required volume output. Perform and lead cross-functional problem-solving using DMAIC methodology. Develop, improve and industrialise new and existing manufacturing processes. Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of NPI, APQP & Project Management.
