Manufacturing and Warehouse Operative Location: Southam Temporary to Permanent Pay rate -£14.00-£17.00 per hour, depending on experience. Hours Days 37.5 hours/Part time hours available Own Transport and driving licence essential. We’re currently recruiting for a Manufacturing and Warehouse Operative for a growing Automotive company based in Southam, specialising in vehicle restoration, parts, and services. They are currently looking for a Manufacturing and Warehouse Operative to join their small but successful team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. There is flexibility regarding the hours per week you could be required to work, so this role would suit someone who has an interest in the automotive sector and be looking to work for a growing company. This role will be a varied role, giving you responsibility for several duties on the shopfloor, including Assembly, Warehouse, Forklift and Spot Welding. The Manufacturing and Warehouse Operative duties include: Working mainly in the parts department, managing orders on the computer, and picking and packing components and packaging boxes and organising shipment tasks Assembling components and large complex items using various hand tools Quality inspection of components Experience spot-welding panels that include doors, tailgates, rear unit body sections, seat frames and locker lids. Used to working as part of a team, but also having the capacity to work under your own supervision. The ideal Manufacturing and Warehouse Operative: Warehouse and assembly experience Spot welding experience would be an advantage. Counterbalance Forklift truck would be an advantage. You will be computer literate, and fully converse with Microsoft packages. Must be capable and qualified to drive a van. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, Strong attention to detail Knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures Candidates will be capable of ensuring that all documentation meets company and legislative requirements.
