Are you an experienced Maintenance Test Pilot and Instructor?   I am currently working with an established aviation company who specialise in helicopters to find an experienced Maintenance Test Pilot and Instructor. They boast extensive expertise in helicopter sales, tailored completions, maintenance, and spare parts support. The organization's in-house engineering capabilities encompass design, customization, installation, flight testing, and certification, along with comprehensive technical support, maintenance, training, and the provision of spare parts for both civil and military applications.   You will: Execute helicopter maintenance flight tests and ferry helicopters between operator and customer bases. Collaborate with the Chief Test Pilot to schedule day-to-day maintenance flight operations, ensuring compliance with UK CAA regulations. Support the Head of Training by delivering helicopter type rating instruction within the UK ATO framework. Provide expertise to the Sales team, offering insights on flight-related topics to enhance product and feature promotion and sales. Represent the organization at various forums, including meetings, symposiums, and industry events. Establish connections with commercial and military customers. Maintain a positive and professional image within the aviation community through effective communication and technical proficiency You will need: Hold multiple complex and non-complex helicopter type ratings as required for the role. Possess a Class One UK CAA Medical certification. Demonstrate strong communication skills, capable of representing the organization to private, commercial, and military customers. Have a solid aviation background with a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems and engineering. Exhibit awareness and comprehension of relevant aviation authority regulations applicable to the role. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office/G-Suite applications and operating flight-related software applications. Accumulate 2000 hours of Multi-Engine Helicopter engine flying time with diverse flying experiences. Showcase experience in maintenance test flying. Bring extensive instructional experience in the field of helicopters. Essential Qualifications: Possess a valid UK CAA CPL(H) or a higher certification. Maintain a current Multi-Engine Helicopter Type Rating. Currently hold or have previously held a Helicopter Instrument Rating. Demonstrate the capability to obtain or hold Instructor/Examiner ratings to support the business. You'll need to be: Collaborative team player adept at efficiently handling multiple complex tasks under pressure. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in communicating effectively at various levels internally and externally.
