Maintenance Engineering Analyst - Product Assurance – Civil Aero Engine Programs- China. Our Aerospace client based in Shanghai, China, are looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineering Analyst, within Product Assurance to be engaged on their Civil Aero Engine Programs in Shanghai. This will be a long term role. Fixed term contracts will be offered to the successful candidate. Job Description: The Maintenance Engineering Analyst will support the development, analysis, and optimization of engine maintenance processes and standards for our client's aero engine products. This includes reliability analysis, engineering support, and involvement in product qualification and service improvements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and apply methods in Maintenance Engineering Analysis (MEA), such as CIA, CMA, TSA, SMA, SEA, SSA, DA, MTA, LORA, OA, etc. Develop and continuously improve MEA standards, processes, guidelines, and software tools. Perform MEA on engine products, including maintenance planning, procedure development, and validation. Support type certification by providing technical MEA input. Deliver engineering support for field service, fault investigation, and rapid response. Analyse product operation data to enhance maintenance strategies and propose product improvement measures. Support the refinement of both engine hardware and service product offerings.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Aircraft Power Engineering, Civil Aviation Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related technical majors - aero engine specialization preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in: Aircraft or engine maintenance. Engine design or development. Maintenance engineering or assembly. Familiarity with engine systems, structures, and maintenance manuals. Knowledge of standards such as S3000L and MSG-3 is preferred. Ability to conduct thorough technical analysis and make maintenance planning decisions. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Good command of English - technical reading and communication.Preferred Background: Experience in airlines, MROs, engine manufacturing or design units. Must have an aviation technical background.
