Our client’s site in Staffordshire is the groups most recent acquisition and accounts for an impressive £120million of the annual turnover.  The business is rich in heritage with over 100 years producing high quality products across 5 manufacturing plants in the UK. They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer of a mechanical bias to join their team. About the role As a maintenance engineer you will work within a large team to ensure the safe and effective maintenance of all plant machinery. PPM Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work Mechanical strip and rebuild. Welding, fabrication and machining. Mechanical Fault finding About you To be considered for a Maintenance Engineer position with the business, due to the nature of the work you should be mechanical biased and have experience from any industry.  You should have the following: -        Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment. -        Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial. -        Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures. -        Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND). -        Our client will also consider candidates if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
