An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global manufacturing business working a continental shift pattern of 4 on/4 off (2 days/2 nights) (7am-7pm then 7pm-7am). Candidates should be Electrically biased and ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications, (18th Edition wiring regulations) together with sound knowledge of PLC’s (Ideally Siemens S7/TIA). Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team that covers all aspects of Plant maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to provide effective maintenance support within high volume manufacturing arena where continuous production is paramount. Ideally, candidates should have experience with performing preventative and corrective maintenance routines, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: *Ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional and in a safe condition *Providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repair accordingly *Work with maintenance team to plan and carry out PPM on all plant equipment to achieve optimum plant equipment availability. *Ensure planned preventive maintenance of all machinery is carried out. *Contribute to TPM process *Support new installations required to improve performance.
