Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Newcastle Continentals – 4 On 4 Off – 4 Days, 4 off, 4 Nights, 4 Off – 12 hour Shifts £51K + Overtime Jackson Hogg is delighted to be once again supporting a well known Manufacturer in the region as they look to expand their team with a further Maintenance Engineer. As an Maintenance Engineer, you will be working in a busy, fast moving environment among a well-supported and skilled team. This company boasts very low turnover and significant recent investment and pride themselves on growing, training and developing their staff. A well-known brand both regionally and globally, they need a strong electrical technician to strengthen the existing team within the electrical maintenance department. You will be responsible for: * Site maintenance activities – Planned, Preventative and Reactive Maintenance * Project support and input across the site * Electrical Maintenance – PLC Fault Finding, Conveyors, Automated Lines and Robotics * Mechanical Maintenance – Pumps, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Roller/Conveyor lines * Supporting junior members of staff and apprentices The ideal candidate will: * Be fully time served, ideally with an electrical or multi skilled/mechatronic apprenticeship * Have experience within fast-moving manufacturing * Experience with PLCs is most desired, specifically PLC Control systems for CNCs, Conveyors and Robotics Cells This company offers real, long term career opportunities with development and training along the way with the options to get involved with Projects, CI and Line Improvement work.
