To ensure that vehicle uptime and customer safety is our absolute priority, through effective and efficient breakdown and defect control. To ensure that work authorisation costs are in line with our rectification budgets Maintenance Controller duties and responsibilities   Ensure all phone calls are answered within set timeframes Allocating breakdowns to the correct supplier, ensuring that vehicles histories and warranty statuses are checked beforehand. Prompt action of any customer defects, checking vehicle histories to ensure any warranty repairs/repeat work is highlighted and reported accordingly. Identify/highlight patterns of repairs, escalating where appreciate through appropriate channels. Ensuring VOR progress updates are communicated to the customers and any issues bought to the supervisor’s attention. Raise LOU claims, making sure these are processed and can be invoiced. Explore all possible avenues prior to submitting a relief vehicle request. Manage the defect report.
