As Machine Shop Supervisor, you will: Oversee and coordinate daily operational activities to meet key performance targets across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team development. Foster a culture of safety by supporting risk assessments, workplace organisation practices, and proactive reporting of potential issues. Encourage high standards by identifying root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions. Monitor team performance, manage resources, and support cross-training to enhance flexibility and productivity. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of operational challenges. Assist with people management tasks such as performance feedback, training coordination, and attendance tracking. As Machine Shop Supervisor, you will have: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Familiarity with industry standards and practices such as 6S, AS9100, and precision manufacturing. Relevant qualifications, such as a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in engineering or manufacturing. Desirable: experience in aerospace or defence, ISO14001 knowledge, and lean/green belt certification.
