Right now, we’re looking for a Machine Shop Manager to lead a vital area of the operation: the milling section, with a strong focus on 5-axis machining. What You’ll Be Leading: * The day-to-day operations of the milling section, ensuring all machining output meets the highest quality, precision, and performance standards expected in Formula One. * A skilled team of machinists and programmers, setting the tone for technical excellence, collaborative culture, and accountability. * The coordination of workflows, shift patterns, scheduling and output in alignment with build programs and car deadlines, where every component counts. * Continuous improvement initiatives around tooling, process optimisation, and efficiency, always ensuring best-in-class capability. * Close alignment with design, production, and quality teams to deliver on aggressive performance goals. What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience managing a precision engineering or manufacturing team, ideally within a fast-paced, high-performance environment, F1, aerospace, motorsport, or advanced engineering. * A deep understanding of 5-axis CNC milling, tooling strategy, programming, and the nuances of delivering complex, high tolerance components. * Outstanding people leadership.
