Job Title: Logistics Operative - Packing Department (Aerospace) (Must have warehousing experience) Location: Denham, Middlesex Department: Packing Department Salary: £26 000.00 Job Overview: Working in the Packing Department, you will be preparing, packing and labelling products and components for transport internally and to new and existing Suppliers. Key Responsibilities: * Primary and final packing of parts, components and products in accordance with technical requirements. * Validating batch numbers, part descriptions and amount against the SAP system and flagging discrepancies. * Ensure all goods are packed with the appropriate materials according to the instructions, and that labels and addresses are attached and clearly visible / legible. * Ensuring the delivery instructions are correct and identify the package to be shipped. * Liaising with the Logistics team and Shipping Clerk to ensure that goods are ready for dispatch. * Quality checking of work done. * Picking, packing, receive and dispatch. * Receipting all materials. Requirements and Skills (ESSENTIAL): * Basic stores and packing (manufacturing or warehouse environment). * Basic H&S policies and procedures. * MS office proficiency. * Basic education holding English and Mathematics GCSE’s. * Full driving license. * Forklift license
