LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER. Stephen James BMW is looking for an enthusiastic, and experienced salesperson to join our sales team as a Local Business Development Manager. As the Local Business Development Manager, you’ll be the go-to contact for local and nationwide businesses. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will help you build outstanding relationships with clients while providing excellent customer service. The main duties of the role include: Develop and implement a strategic business plan to drive growth and profitability Maintain and develop customer relationships with local businesses Maximising sales and boost profitability for our BMW and MINI products Overseeing and engaging with potential, new, and current customers Identifying additional opportunities within existing arrangements (e.g., finance commission and aftersales income) Manage CRM database and diary, for promotions, car replacement cycles, and reports Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly. YOUR PROFILE. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Sales focused with strong business acumen and negotiation skills Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach. Proven experience in a similar role, preferable within the automotive industry Valid, clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK ABOUT US. SALARY AND HOURS. Basic Salary £25,000 (with a guarantee for first 3 months) OTE £60,000, per annum, plus a Company Car.
