Job Description * Experience in design of transceivers (discrete and SDR based) for wireless systems * Deriving requirement specifications from wireless standards and RF sub-system design . * Understanding of Transceiver Architectures for SDR application, Direct RF sampling, Zero IF, Low IF architectures * Experience in DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) and PLL (Phase Locked Loop) based frequency Synthesizers and clock design. * Experience in RF Transceivers design, testing and system and module level analysis for both defense and Satcom applications. * Understanding on hardware development life cycle involving functional requirements, circuit design, schematic entry, Layout, board bring-up, hardware trouble-shooting and performance testing. * Experience in designing RF module and sub-system design including LNA’s, matching circuits for LNA’s and General-Purpose Amplifiers, Passive and active filters, power splitters * Understanding on Linearization Techniques like APD, DPD, Feed forward amplifiers etc. * Good knowledge of mixed signal designing, interfacing with ADC’s and DAC’s. * Power supply designing using dc to dc converters, linear and switching voltage Regulators. * Experienced in usage of all RF Equipment – Spectrum / Signal / Network Analysers, Power meters. * Good knowledge in using RF design tools like ADS, HFSS etc. * Preparing objective specifications, Budget analysis, compliance metrics, BOM’s, Production test plans, performing derating analysis, stability analysis, isolation analysis, drawing schematics, doing layout and DFM Reviews etc. * Knowledge of qualifying products through environmental and EMI/EMC tests (Military standards).
