Lead Project Planner / Luton / £70per hour Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence Organisation are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Planner to spearhead the planning and scheduling aspects of a complex design and development bid. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of project controls within the Electronics Warfare line of business. This role demands strong collaboration and cross-functional working to deliver compelling proposals. Key Responsibilities Manage the portfolio level response for the Electronics Warfare line of business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver required outcomes. Conduct all scheduling activities using Primavera P6 and Primavera Risk Analyser. Coach and support the bid team in understanding project controls best practices. Mentor cross-functional members of the bid team in planning and scheduling best practices. Engage and influence stakeholders up to VP level. Work independently, ensuring compliance with all procedures and recognising appropriate escalation scenarios. Apply Schedule Risk Analysis, including identification, analysis methods, and recommendations for management. Demonstrate commercial and financial acumen. Utilise comprehensive project controls experience in bid phase and complex engineering development projects.Requirements Expert user in Primavera P6 Scheduling Tool. Proven collaboration, communication, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. APMG Project Controls Practitioner (Nice to Have). Demonstrable experience in project controls with a focus on bid phase and complex engineering development projects. You must be eligible for BPSS/SC clearance, sole UK nationality is a requirement This is a temporary role until December with the potential to extend.
