Job Title: Lead PLC Engineer Location: Halewood Liverpool Rate: £49.65ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £37.47ph PAYE Employment Type: Contract (12 months) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week Job Description: As lead PLC Engineer candidate will be responsible for the development and commissioning of PLC based software applications. This will include sequential automation (DCP preferred), Facility Monitoring and manufacturing execution systems. Experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs within the Automotive Industry is a required skill for this role. Candidate will also be part of a Cross-functional Development Team and have direct input into global manufacturing standards covering multiple technology areas (Body Construction, Trim and Final, Paint, Powertrain). Primary Skills Required: * Expert in PLC programming. * Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC’s. * Understanding of Industrial Networks (Ethernet IP). * Problem solving. Additional Skills: * Experience with DCP programming structure. * Experience in delivering MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). * Experience in delivering facility Monitoring Systems.
