Job Description * Responsible for Design and Development of Electro-Mechanical Enclosures. * Knowledge of Design Processes like Requirement gathering, Concept Creation, Evaluation, Technical Risk Analysis and Product Realization. * Responsible for preparation of Design Documents for Thermal, Structural Analysis. * Responsible for detailed drawings for fabrication of the designed component * Ensure Product designed is cost effective and aesthetically appealing. * Ensuring manufactured mechanical parts are as per design. * Assembly of the system and assistance during subsequent Environmental Stress Testing. * Design of Fixtures for Military Environmental Tests (Vibration, Bump Test, Shock) * Thorough knowledge on cost effective designs, design for manufacturability, aesthetics, human engineering and optimal utilization of space and functionality. * Understanding on EMI/EMC compliant designs. * Better understanding and knowledge on materials and surface finish requirements and standards. * Understanding on various manufacturing processes, machining methods, sheet metal production. * Knowledge of Process standards like MIL, BIS and design standards like IEEE, ARINC, ATI, VITA, VPx, IEC, IP Rating (NEMA), 19’’ RACK (EIA 310D),NEBS, FIPS etc., * Familiar with Product Qualification Tests like Vibration, Drop, shock, bump, acceleration tests, Rain drip, Thermal shock, Thermal Cycling, Damp tests, EMI/EMC as per MIL, JSS 55555 standards.
