Our client is seeking a highly motivated Lead F&DT Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity of their aircraft through expert F&DT analysis and leadership. Rates: £30.24 - £37.80 per hour PAYE £40.00 - £50.00 per hour Umbrella Key Responsibilities for the Lead F&DT Engineer: Analyse metallic airframe structures using industry-standard tools and processes. Compile comprehensive F&DT certification dossiers and technical reports for airworthiness certification. Provide valuable insights and contribute to design review presentations. Lead and approve F&DT certification deliverables, ensuring the highest quality standards. Foster a collaborative work environment and mentor team members. Provide regular progress reports to senior engineering leadership.Key Skills and Experience Required by the Lead F&DT Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline. A seasoned aerospace engineer with a proven track record in F&DT analysis. Prior experience working within a major aerospace manufacturer. Extensive experience in airframe certification analysis, with a preference for wing structures. Possess a delegated F&DT approval signature, recognized by the relevant authorities. In-depth knowledge of industry-standard F&DT analysis tools, methods, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
