Lead Engineer - Exterior Trim  Automotive  Competitive Salary Plus Car Allowance and Benefits  Are you a Lead Engineer - Exterior Trim exposure having managed the delivery of products and systems for new vehicle development programmes? We are currently supporting a world class automotive OEM in recruiting a Lead Engineer, -Exterior Trim on a full-time basis , seeking someone who can develop a forward thinking team in the development of exterior trim for a suit of new EV vehicles. As a Lead Engineer - Exterior Trim, you will manage the module team and be responsible for technical delivery to cost, quality, and time. Being a figurehead within vehicle development within the associated attributes team, you will be expected to: Support the APC, Chief Engineer, BIW & Exterior in all day-to-day activities Mentor other team members as required Lead the module team, ensuring tasks are assigned and deliverables are produced to the required standard and meeting the prescribed timing Conduct performance assessments of team members Generate development plans and training requirements for the team and yourself. You will also require the following: The ability to create and manipulate geometry for primary communication of concepts and schemes Catia v5/v6 skills, able to demonstrate high technical competence, including the ability to generate 3D geometry and sectional data Experience using TCUA (Team Centre) & PLM preferable Engineering experience in the delivery of designated module systems in the automotive sector or similar industries.
