Job Description * Responsible for end to end Hardware product development life cycle and testing for Satcom and Defense application * Requirements Capture, Schematic Design, Analysis (Derating, Loading, Power, Pre SI), Review * Layer Stackup validation and verification, constraint management for PCB, Routing layout Guiding, Verification and review * Understanding of Signal integrity/power integrity: Pre layout analysis, Post layout analysis, Multiboard simulation, Power calculation and estimation, Voltage drop/Current Density/Decoupling analysis, Plane noise analysis. * Gerber review and Manufacturer supporting * Hands on board bring-up, design validation, functional, stress, system testing, troubleshooting * Test planning, testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and report generation * Test Plan preparation, test coverage analysis, Compliances testing for EMI & EMC , Environmental requirements * Tools specific details: ORCAD Capture, Mentor Graphics Dxdesigner , Hyperlynx 9.0, Visual IBIS Editor. * Experience in using Hardware Testing tool specific like 13G Agilent Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer (for EMI related issues), Ethernet compliance validation, Compliance testing with test labs * Understanding on various digital device interfaces HDMI, DVI & LVDS, Memory (DDR2, DDR3, QDR, NAND Flash, NOR Flash, SATA static memories) PCIe switches, Ethernet phy (RGMII, SGMII), Processors up to 1.2GHz, USB2.0, USB3.0 and other high speed interfaces. * Interface specific details : RGMII, SGMII, SerDes, DDR2, DDR3, NOR flash, NAND flash, USB 2.0/3.0, PCIe, SATA I2C, I2S, SPI, CVBS, HDMI, DVI, LVDS, SD Card interfaces.
