LGV / HGV Technician - The Role We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in the role of LCV / HGV Technician. As a technician at Alex Aiken and Son, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, conducting routine inspections, and performing servicing on a diverse fleet of vehicles. Responsibilities • Diagnosing and identifying mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in vehicles. • Executing repairs efficiently and effectively to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. • Conducting routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future breakdowns. • Performing regular maintenance tasks. • Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional service delivery. • Upholding the highest standards of workmanship and quality in all tasks. LCV / HGV Technician - Qualifications and Skills: • workshop: 3 years (preferred) • Proven experience as an LCV or HGV technician, showcasing your expertise in diagnostics and repairs. • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, components, and latest technological advancements. • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. • Relevant certifications and qualifications in automotive technology. • Driving licence, preferred Alex Aiken and Son is an equal opportunity employer.
