On behalf of our client, an established aerospace tier 1 manufacturer, we are seeking 2 motivated and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Estimators to join their growing team in Hinckley. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar who possesses strong Excel skills and is eager to develop a career in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for potential career progression. Key Responsibilities: * Support on Quoting: Assist in preparing and reviewing quotes for large packages of work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * ERP System Utilisation: Use the company's ERP system to input, track, and manage data related to estimates and quotes. * Assist BD Managers and Estimating Engineers: Provide day-to-day support to Business Development Managers and Estimating Engineers, aiding in their tasks and facilitating smooth operations. * Quote Review and Update: Regularly review and update quotes using Excel, ensuring data is current and accurate. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * Excel Proficiency: Skilled in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. * Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and preparing quotes. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. * ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable, but training will be provided.
