Located in Swindon with excellent transport links to the M4, Bristol is approximately 40 miles to the west and London 82 miles to the east. Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Operations, the Inventory Manager will manage the Inventory & Packing teams, working alongside the Warehouse Team predominantly, but also interacting with Customer Services, Accounts, Technical, Warranty and Supply Chain departments. Key Responsibilities: The focus of the role is to carry out tasks that ensure the stock data integrity is maintained to a high standard so that our customers have full visibility of our entire stock holding and that we deliver 100% of their order to them, in full and on time. To do this, we need to ensure the following routines are completed accurately, daily: * Manage the Inventory & Packing Teams, with 2 direct reports and 10 staff. * Investigate and manage the Missing products, short ships and all shipping discrepancies. * Investigate any reports of short or over-shipped product to our customers to advise whether credits need to be given to our customers. * Manage the perpetual inventory regime to ensure stock data accuracy, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and all issues reconciled. * Verifying that replenishments are completed accurately. * Ensuring replenishment routines are completed by the Stock Team. * All stock has an assigned Pick bin with accurate Master Data * Ensure that all stock Transactions between the WMS and the ERP system are accounted for, and accurate. * Responsible for system housekeeping with all exceptions being reported on. * Assist with stock queries from other departments internally and communicate your findings back to those departments. * Oversee the development of Inventory & Packing Teams, through performance reviews, counseling, feedback, and growth/talent advising. Provide technical advice and knowledge to the team. Training & Experience Essential * Experience in managing multiple warehouse Teams. * Experience in a Stock Control or Inventory Management role. * Procure, analyse and manipulate data for warehouse reporting and KPI’s, using Excel Lookups and Pivot tables. * Experience using Warehouse Management System’s as a Super-user/SME. * Experience in a fast-paced high-volume warehouse environment. * Experience in using MS Office software (Excel, Word & Outlook).
