Morson Talent are working with a leading F1 team to recruit a Inventory Controller to join their team and contribute to the success of our client. Location: Oxfordshire Hours/Shift: on average 42 hours per week  Rate: £14p.h Contract Length: 6 months initially Role Purpose: We are expanding our Inventory team here at Williams Racing and are looking for Inventory Controllers to join our busy and fast-paced team. In this role you will manage internal and external transactions of bespoke parts and consumables for the F1 team. This is a varied role in an exciting environment and to succeed you will need to be efficient, adaptable, show initiative and being able to work under pressure. Role Responsibilities: To work as directed by the Inventory Supervisor to manage all materials and parts within the business and ensure that all goods, materials, parts and sub assemblies are correctly reported within the business. Working Hours: Various Shifts Available: 4 days on 4 days off including bank holidays or Early Shift / Late Shift Monday to Friday. Two fixed shutdown periods in line with FIA regulations, one in summer and one at Christmas. Operational Duties & Key Objectives: • Carry out accurate put away work for incoming parts, ensuring the work order is complete and subsequently closing the work order. • Picking parts for production using Hand-Held devices • Booking stock into Goods-In, organising van and courier bookings to support Procurement’s requirements. • Raw Material ordering and booking in • Support in cutting Raw Material (Metallics, Pattern Board, Pre-Preg, in line with the cut list, ensuring accurate consumption into the parent work orders. • Ensure Picks are provided to area of Production in time to start production (as per the schedule) • Place Requisitions and ROPs for consumable and standard parts where required. • Cycle Counting, in line with the cycle count plan. • Fork-Lift Truck Driving as required. • Correct movement of stock between locations (electronic or physical) • Control of material expiration dates, including short term out-life • Picking, packing, and creating delivery notes for sub-con picks Key Skills • Previous experience working in a stock-controlled environment. • Previous experience using an ERP solution, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365. • A team player with a ‘’can do’’ attitude. • Good knowledge and use of MS Office. • Knowledge of inventory management techniques and stock handling methods. • Forklift driving license is advantageous but not essential. • Previous experience with raw material handling and use of bandsaws is advantageous but not essential.
