As an Inventory Clerk, you will be joining a team that are part-responsible for purchasing and inventory management for Babcock and MOD customers. Who we are looking for? We are looking for an individual who has strong communication skills, both verbally and written. You will need to have the ability to work closely with all relevant stakeholders in order to achieve business goals. What will you be doing? * Inventory Management of a range of spares or equipment's * Action demands according to priority within designated timescales. * Manage associated provisioning activities to ensure optimum stocking levels are maintained to meet business and customer Key Performance Indicators. * Make full use of data, systems and best practice to meet customer expectations and business performance indicators. * Process planned orders within the business ERP system taking into account and reacting business priorities. * Scrutinise and authorise all buy recommendations within delegated financial authority. The experience you'll bring * Previous administration experience in a busy environment * You need to have strong Excel skills * Excellent communication skills is essential * Knowledge of SAP is desirable * Knowledge of MOD Supply Chain would be a bonus * You will need to satisfy security requirements.
