Expleo are seeking an Interior / HMI Planning Engineer, to work within a globally successful automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis. The successful Engineer will be working within the Interior Planning & Cost Performance Team. Responsibilities of the Interior / HMI Planning Engineer include: * Gather Inputs including Product Planning Concept, Vehicle Planning Requirements, Vehicle Performance Targets & Ergonomic Requirements * Vehicle & Component Benchmark & Trend * Collaborate with Stakeholders to decide & document the Layout of Major Components * Maintain Alignment between Vehicle / Interior / HMI / CPM / Console / Seat / Luggage Plan Drawings * Oversee Styling Model Development ensure Styling remains on Budget Background and experience required for the Interior / HMI Planning Engineer position: * You will ideally be degree educated * Good Understanding of the European Customer / Market / Ergonomic / Regulatory Requirements * Knowledge of how HMI is evolving in EV's to provide a Seamless Customer Experience In / Out of the Car * Experience of working with Product Planning / Styling whilst ensuring Project Targets are met * CAD Layout understanding A full driving licence valid for driving in the UK is essential and flexibility to Travel is required To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are eligible to work within the UK.
