We are currently recruiting for an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to Join our clients team at their office located in Crawley, West Sussex. Seeking an individual who has experience ideally in import freight forwarding, with the ability to work within an multi role environment & work on other core activities within the export department. Duties Include: Complete the custom procedures with total accuracy ensuring that deadlines are met both internally and those defined by customs. • Generate accurate invoice to client for all shipment related charges • Obtain and communicate internally and externally all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met • Ensure documentation is Up-to-date, loaded correctly and make your Team Leader or Manager aware of any issues that may arise • Proactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays. • Liaise with the UK importer/Shipper all the way through to the delivery. • Sharing knowledge within the team and continually improving processes. • Liaise with overseas partners to arrange collections and deliveries. • Organise and plan flight schedules. Qualifications A Level 2 in English & Maths Experience You will have previous experience working within the importing and exporting You will be able to work under pressure, a strong eye for detail and be proficient using MS office programmes including Outlook, Excel and word. A dedication to provide excellent customer service, strong organisation skillset. This role will be busy and require a strong eye for detail is required and will suit someone who has exceptional organisational skills. You will have a good working knowledge and an understanding of: CDS, CHIEF & Sequoia Terms and endorsements of HAWB’s.
