We have a vacancy for a Human Resources Assistant, based in Raydon, Essex (car driver essential due to location and possible travel to other sites). Key responsibilities The HR Assistant reports to the HR Manager, and is expected assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required: ·Provide an efficient and effective administrative and HR support within the Human Resources department and across the business. Maintaining recruitment/personnel files, management of the HRIS (People HR), sickness/holiday records, benefits, payroll, and other HR records, ensuring attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality is always maintained. ·Liaise with the Recruitment team to produce offer letters and contracts of employment. ·Working with the HR Manager, assist with the administration of the monthly payroll, and liaise with our external payroll provider. ·Provide first point of contact for all colleagues with HR enquiries, resolving these professionally and promptly. ·In conjunction with the HR Manager, work closely with line managers to provide guidance and support on a full range of HR activities including policies, procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, performance management, disciplinary/grievance investigations, and other employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to people management throughout the whole organisation. Skills and abilities ·Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. ·Proficient skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential. ·Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. ·Remain approachable and calm under pressure. ·Ability to act with integrity, tact and diplomacy with sensitive and confidential information and handle it in a secure manner at all times. ·Ability to complete a variety of HR related tasks. ·Good time management and organisation skills.
