HSEF Assistant Purpose Reporting to the HSEF Manager, the HSEF Assistant will provide professional support and guidance to business, enabling the effective implementation of ACSUK Health and Safety processes & policies in compliance with all health and safety legislation. The HSEF Assistant will support the HSEF Manager in the participation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Safety Management System. The HSEF Assistant will support and promote a positive HSE culture. Key Responsibilities * Support & maintain ACSUK Health, Safety and Environment policies and processes * Review and make changes to working practices to ensure they are safe and comply with all relevant legislation * Ensure HSE related incidents are investigated thoroughly, and clear recommendations are provided to stakeholders * Support HSE training * Provide guidance and practical solutions to ensure legal compliance and best practice * Support delivery (where required) of health and safety training to colleagues and support the procurement and delivery of externally sourced H&S training. * Support, monitor and review the H&S risk assessment process across ACSUK * Monitor and review contractors to ensure adherence to robust H&S practices and take positive required action where non-conformance is identified. * Support identification of gaps in existing H&S activities and procedures, and assist in researching, developing, implementing, communicating, monitoring, auditing and reviewing the new/revised activities and procedures. * Support the HSEF Manager in delivering the H&S policy, strategy and plans desired outcomes. * Write and review HSE documents, assessments and processes/procedures * Any other relevant duties required by the role in relation to HSE management and compliance * ESOS & SECR data collection Key Performance Measures Statutory standards and reporting requirements Agreed KPI Standards and targets across HSE ISO requirements, per plan Full Job description available upon request
