We are looking for a HSE Project Support for a 12 Month contract based in Barnoldswick (hybrid maybe available) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a candidate to join our team as we embark on the decommissioning of one site and the relocation to another. The role involves overseeing complex manufacturing operations related to the production of fan blades for gas turbines. These operations include various chemical processes utilizing acids, alkalis, and solvents. Both facilities are designated as lower-tier COMAH facilities due to the significant volumes of chemicals involved. Join us in this exciting project as we navigate through these critical phases of site decommissioning and relocation. As a HSE Project Support you will be responsible for: Act as the primary liaison between the project team and the site HSE team. Coordinate with external consultants for permit applications, ensuring compliance with regulations. Modify Planning Hazardous Substances consent in alignment with project requirements. Conduct HAZID studies for the new factory layout, identifying and mitigating potential hazards. Ensure effective communication with enforcement authorities throughout the project duration.What we require from the HSE Project Support Extensive experience in HSE project support, demonstrating a thorough understanding of PUWER, COMAH, DSEAR, and CDM would be benifical Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external consultants. Proven track record in conducting HAZID studies and supporting PUWER assessments. Familiarity with overseeing surplus asset sales, decommissioning processes, and managing records for equipment.
