Position: HGV/Plant Technician Location: Coatbridge  Salary: £21.00ph - £49,140 Shift: Days  Mobile covering 3 workshops  About your new company My client is a large independent HGV Maintenance company with several depots around Scotland. They have been established for over 60 years and are the leaders in bulk transport, they are constantly investing in their fleet ensuring the highest standards of working conditions. Their huge fleet consists of over 160 vehicles, over 500 trailers and tankers. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled HGV/Plant Technician to join their ever growing team. About your new HGV/Plant Technician role You will carry out planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs and modification work on a variety of trucks, trailers and plant  You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements for equipment, machines and tools. Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performanceWhat the successful HGV/Plant Technician will have You will have an in-depth knowledge of a variety of Mechanical Handling Equipment to include forklifts, material handlers etc You will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds level 3).
