The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment. Essential Skills & Qualifications for HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Transporter Driver / HGV Driver / Transporter Driver / Class 1 Transporter Driver: * Dealing with driver queries. * Coordinating drivers, vehicles and movements on site * Experience with Driving Transporters * HGV Class 1 Licence * Liaising with Workshop for vehicle services. * Liaising with vehicle swaps regarding traffic flow and movements at peak times. * Ensuring site speed restrictions and rules are enforced. * Quality checking driver vehicles / standards. * Ensuring site traffic flows and pinch points on site are kept clear and remain functional. * Loading and unloading of vehicle transporters and recovery trucks. * Excellent communication skills / Good interpersonal skills. * Good team working skills. * Good general knowledge of vehicles. * Ability to stay calm under pressure. * Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach on site. * Driving license.
