Due to increased workload and fleet expansion, we’re seeking an experienced and committed HGV Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. What You’ll Be Doing: * Perform scheduled operator licence inspections & preventative maintenance * Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs to high standards * MOT test prep and presentations with a focus on 100% first-time pass rate * Use of hand tools, diagnostic and specialist equipment * Complete service inspection records and write repair reports * Work independently or as part of a team to deliver timely results What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience as an HGV Technician (Essential) * NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (Essential) * City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 / BTEC or similar practical qualification * Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Essential) * Experience with road sweepers (Desirable) * Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude * Diligent, safety-conscious and committed to high standards of quality What You’ll Get: * Overtime after 8 hours - £27 per hour. * Full-time, permanent role * 20 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays * Friendly and growing team environment * 3-month probationary period with long-term opportunity
