Carbon60 are currently looking for HGV Technicians to work for a UK leading waste management company. Hours: 48 hours per week - Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00 Location: Rochester, Kent. Join us today and you will be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000 Salary: Up to £44,569.97 per annum plus a daily meal allowance of £4.47 and benefits 22 days of annual leave plus statutory bank holidays What you'll be doing You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's. You will keep our HGV's safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers. Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe. Repair and maintain the company Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Ensure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets are completed accurately. Attend roadside breakdowns when required. What we're looking for Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification. A HGV driving licence would be desirable, we can also offer a training program. If you are a skilled or semi-skilled Technician we'd still love to hear from you.
