OATS Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client - a specialist Truck and Van dealer for a HGV Technician at their workshop in Blaydon Requirements: * Must have completed an apprenticeship with an industry standard qualifications to either City & Guilds or NVQ level 3. * HGV 1 or 2 license preferred * Experience working on Iveco/Fiat/Maxus Must be competent in the following duties: * DVSA / Manufacturer Safety Inspections. * MOT Preparation to DVSA standards. * Ability to carryout mechanical repairs to Industry & manufacturer standard. * Ability to carryout diagnosis using manufacturer diagnostic machines. * Ability to comply with manufacturer process and procedures while carryout warranty repairs. * Ability to record performed work in writing. * Road side assistance experience. * Ability to work in a safe manner following health & safety legislation. Shifts: Nights - Tuesday - Friday, 19:00 - 07:00. All overtime is paid at 1.5x also and the hourly rate is £21.80. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing business.
