HGV Technician- Hemel Hempstead -Nights Excel Resourcing are currently recruiting for an HGV Technician to work on Night shift at Hemel depot. You must have class 2 HGV licence for this role! This is what you'll be doing: * You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques. * You'll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components. * You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.). * You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians. * You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed. This is what we're looking for: * A completed secondary vocational education. * A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge * An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles. * Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry. You will be required to provide your own tool-kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).
