Night Shift HGV Technician – Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles 📍 Billingham 💰 £23.00 – £24.00 per hour 💷 £45,000 – £50,000 per annum 🌙 Permanent Night Shift We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle dealership in Billingham for an experienced Night Shift HGV Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest standards while benefiting from a stable night shift pattern and competitive earnings. 🔧 Shift Pattern * Week 1 & 2: Monday to Thursday * Week 3 & 4: Tuesday to Friday * Permanent night shift 🔧 The Role As a Night Shift HGV Technician, you will: * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles. * Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. * Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance work. * Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards. * Accurately complete workshop documentation and job records. * Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime. 🔧 Requirements * Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). * Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician. * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. * Ability to work independently during night shifts. * Full UK driving licence. 🔧 What's On Offer? * Competitive hourly rate of £23.00 – £24.00 per hour. * Annual earnings of £45,000 – £50,000. * Permanent night shift position. * Manufacturer training and ongoing development opportunities. * Modern workshop facilities and equipment. * Long-term career prospects with a premium commercial vehicle brand.
