Excel Resourcing are currentley recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to work a permanent night shift at Belvedere depot. Schedule: 4 nights of 11 hours or 5 Nights for 9 hours with no weekends. Salary: £44,000 to £47,000 This is what you'll be doing: * You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques. * You'll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components. * You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.). * You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians. * You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed. This is what we're looking for: * A completed secondary vocational education. * A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products. * An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles. * Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry. You will be required to provide your own tool-kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).
