Roles and responsibilities: Repair and maintain the Veolia Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Run diagnostics on vehicles using a range of up to date diagnostic equipment. Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics diagnostics and repairs. Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations. Complete roadside repairs when necessary.Skills and Experience: City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in HGV Engineering or equivalent. Good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and individually. Ability to work under pressure and actively seek solutions to problems. Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks. Thorough Knowledge of current HGV MOT regulations and standards. Driving Licence. Salary: £37k-£38k per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday - Overtime available as and when required which may include weekends and Bank Holidays Overtime Rate: Weekdays x 1.5, Saturday x 1.5, Sundays 2.0 & Bank Holidays x 2.0 + TOIL Day) Location: Birmingham Join us today and you will be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000 Immediate start are available with interviews being held shortly.
