HGV Technician Location: Enfield Competitive Salary: £(phone number removed) + £25 per week London Weighting allowance Day/Evening Shift: Tuesday to Saturday - 6:00 to 14:30/ 13:00 - 21:30 alternate weeks/ 6 week rolling rota. The Role: HGV Technician We're seeking dedicated HGV Technicians to join the maintenance team at a busy logistics hub in Enfield. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within given timeframes Safety & Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and performance standards according to manufacturer guidelines Breakdowns & Reactive Work: Handle urgent breakdowns and repairs quickly and effectively Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all repairs and diagnostics First-Time Fix Focus: Ensure quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve vehicle availabilityWhat We're Looking For: Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or transport environment with strong HGV maintenance and repair skills Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent); CPC qualification (desirable but not essential) Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a teamWhat's in it for you?
