HGV Technician Pay: £19.80 per hour OTE: £55,000 – £60,000 per year Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday + Overtime Available at 1.5x Rate Shift Pattern: Week 1 & 2: 8:00am – 5:00pm | Week 3: 3:00pm – 12:00am Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Overview We’re looking for experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy workshop on a rotating shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to earn a strong base rate with the option to significantly boost earnings through Saturday overtime, all while working in a modern, well-supported environment. Key Responsibilities As an HGV Technician, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to manufacturer and safety standards. Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using advanced equipment as part of your role as a professional HGV Technician. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and documented accurately. Support workshop efficiency and maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety. What You’ll Need NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent proven experience). Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a commercial workshop. Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills. Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous). Flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern, including week 3 lates.
