Realistic OTE: Details of available overtime and enhanced rates will be confirmed at interview. Overview We're looking for an enthusiastic HGV Technician to join the team in Preston. This is a unique permanent days role working a 3.5-day week (Sunday-Wednesday), offering a fantastic work-life balance. You'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers in a professional workshop environment with excellent personal development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Undertake maintenance, diagnostics, and repair activities on commercial vehicles and trailers. Complete all associated paperwork and procedures for warranty, contract, and retail work. Carry out preventative maintenance to a high standard. Work methodically to diagnose faults and implement permanent repairs. What You'll Need A recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds) is essential. Proven experience in the diagnosis, servicing, and repair of commercial vehicles. A full UK driving licence (HGV licence is preferred but not essential).
