HGV Supervisor Job Role:                              HGV Supervisor Location:                               Erith Salary:                                   £49,000                                                                                                         HGV Supervisor opportunity My client, a market leading main dealer with depots across the UK is actively seeking to employ a skilled and experienced HGV Supervisor for their purpose-built maintenance facility based in Belvedere. HGV Supervisor Duties   As an HGV Suppervisor you will work on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful applicants will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, your duties will include; Vehicle inspections. General servicing and pre-planned maintenance. Reactive maintenance as required. MOT preparation / Presentation. Correction of running defects. Repair and maintenance of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems. Fault diagnosis and rectification of defects including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical. HGV Supervisor Experience Be a qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications or time served Chargehand experience Must have a minimum of a car/van driving licence, HGV licence desirable IRTEC Qualification desirable. Experience with the vehicles used within the waste industry would be a distinct advantage. Experienced in hydraulic and electrical systems. Welding experience preferred but not essential.
