HGV PSV Technician/Supervisor Location Kidderminster Worcestershire Salary 40k to 43k per annum HGV/PSV Mechanical Engineering on Buses in Worcester Permanent - Full Time Dayshifts 6am to 2pm Our Client is a Bus Transport Company / Engineering We are working with a leading bus Company and our engineering teams are working at the forefront of bus technology. About the Role - Skilled Mechanic (PSV/HGV) Do you want to be part of our energetic team of HGV/PSV/bus mechanical engineers and Supervisor maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: * Manage the team of engineers * Diagnose and carry out Bous and coaches vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement * Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used * Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using hand held data capture devices if applicable * Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair Hours: 40 per week on a late weekly shift pattern of 5 days - with every other Saturday paid at premium rate for any weekend working. About you * Do you have at minimum a Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent qualification as a HGV/PSV or bus mechanic? * Do you have a flexible approach to working hours? * A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this) * Must have a valid UK driver's licence * Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience will be considered (HGV) please can you apply and send me your cv and i will call you straight back to discuss the position and your experience
