HGV Class 1 Night Drivers Location – Chepstow NP16 Salary - Nights £18.00 - £22.00 PER HOUR Shift pattern, Sunday - Saturday Must be able to work weekends so you could work Thursday - Sunday/Monday or Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for regular work on an ongoing Thursday to Sunday/Monday or Monday - Friday nights. The role is completing a range of different class 1 roles, trunking, RDC to RDC, ensuring customers receive a high level of customer service. Key tasks: Delivering items to customers Trunking Nights 18.00 - 21.00 start times Experience required/Personal attributes. Duties: - Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment - Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries Requirements: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Clean driving record with no major violations - Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role - Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication and customer service skills If you feel you are the right fit for this role and you are looking for consistent ongoing work, click apply and somebody from Pin Point Recruitment will give you a call to discuss this role further.
