Working with a long established industry specialist in Southampton where you will be part of a small professionl team, we are currently recruiting for a HGV 2 (C+E) Driver who would also be available to assist in the Warehouse as and when required during busy periods althouh a majority of the role will be driving.  *Applicants must hold a HGV2 license, digital tacho & CPC qualification as it is a dual role*  Temporary to Permanent, 12-Weeks - Immediate Start Available. The main requirement of this role is to work as a Driver using HGV 2 vehicles and delivering from 8-12 drops per day dependent on vehicle size & routes.  There will also be the opportunity to drive an additional range of vehicles from 3.5t+ but the HGV2 license is essential. Candidates will also be required to assist in the warehouse when there is not quite the demand for a full driver compliment and the driving days can vary between 3-5+ per week dependent on requirements. HGV pay rate will be the same for the driving & warehouse. Delivery routes are various and can change dependent on daily requirements and which routes/vehicles may need covering.  Driving days will start earlier and finish earlier and will include overtime when required. Warehouse will be slightly later day shifts. ESSENTIAL: Full UK driving licence C+E entitlement to drive HGV 2 vehicles. Digital Tacho card. Driver CPC. Eligible to work in the UK full-time. HGV Driver experience and be willing to assist in the warehouse. This role is 40hrs per week Monday to Friday only + overtime with no weekend work or bank holidays and candidates must be flexible.
