We are in search of a skilled Vehicle Prep and Polisher to contribute to the meticulous restoration and presentation of these luxurious, prestigious cars. This permanent position offers a competitive salary in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. Working in a modern, bright, and airy facility on a Day-shift basis, Monday to Thursday (7.30am – 16.15pm) and Fridays (7.00am – 15.30pm) with the opportunity for overtime. Responsibilities of the Heritage/Classic Vehicle Prep and Polisher: Surface Restoration: Thoroughly prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, applying fillers (if required) and primers to ensure an optimal smooth base, then expertly mask the area ready for the paint application. Polishing / Detailing: Execute comprehensive polishing and detailing processes such as Paint flattening, mop polishing, removing imperfections, drip marks and defects to restore and enhance the appearance of vehicles. Preservation Techniques: Implement specialised techniques to protect and preserve the paintwork and finishes. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Paint team to ensure that the vehicles meet the brand's standards for authenticity and excellence. Possessing a strong knowledge and understanding of health and safety, COSHH and environmental procedures in the workplace Showcase Preparation: Prepare vehicles for showcasing at events, exhibitions, and shows, ensuring they reflect the brand's commitment to automotive heritage. Collaborative Support: Collaborate with other workshop teams to contribute expertise in vehicle aesthetics during the restoration process. Requirements of the Heritage/Classic Vehicle Prep and Polisher: Experience: Proven experience in Preparation, Polishing and Detailing vehicles. Ideally heritage, classic or high value bespoke vehicles   Passion: A deep appreciation for heritage and classic cars with a keen eye for detail. Skills: Proficient in using various polishing tools and products suitable Adaptability: Ability to adapt polishing techniques based on the unique requirements of each heritage vehicle.
