We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety & Environmental Lead to join a reputable company on a permanent basis. This role is based in Birmingham and will cover 3 sites, including Birmingham area and Worcestershire. As a Health and Safety & Environmental Lead, you will play a crucial role in coordinating, supporting, and advising the Group on all aspects of Health and Safety & Environment. You will be responsible for establishing, managing, and monitoring the Group's ESG Strategy, as well as ensuring that all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety & Environment within the company are adhered to. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead relevant projects, ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to, and build positive relationships with the HSE and other organisations. You will be working closely with various teams, including the Operational Team, Group HR Manager and team, Group Quality Manager and team, Engineering Team, and the H&S Committee across 3 sites. To be successful in this role, you must be NEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or working towards NEBOSH certificate accreditation, have at least 3 years of recent and relevant experience in a similar role, and possess strong leadership skills. You should also have excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with others and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
