Currently, the team is seeking a Head of Battery Systems to join the team and help continue their success. This role will be leading the company with all things related to the battery from cell to pack level. What you will be doing: * Leading the design to manufacture of highly efficient, power-dense Motorcycle Battery systems * Technology scouting to identify and integrate emerging battery technologies * Providing deep and expert technical guidance on all battery-related topics * Manage the Battery department and support in the recruitment of new members to form the future Battery cohort * Collaborate with wider teams to ensure the successful integration of battery technology What we are looking for: * Strong experience and understanding of Battery for vehicle application * Deep expertise in battery pack design and have understanding across all disciplines required * A broad understanding of adjacent components and systems that the battery will need to interact with * Familiarity working within a highly regulated environment following industry standards * Excellent communication skills with both expert and non-expert audiences This is truly an exciting time to join and work with an SME leading innovation in the electric motorbike industry.
