Harness & integration Manager Permanent Guildford £45,000 - £55,000 Harness & integration Manager required by industry leading Space company, based in Guildford. The successful Harness & integration Manager will be responsible for the design of a range of electrical products and for leading and motivating a team of engineers and technicians to ensure on time delivery of projects. Main Duties – Harness & integration Manager Designing a range of electrical assemblies and overseeing the build process. Planning and scheduling work to meet project objectives and targets, ensuring that performance outputs are monitored and met. Ensuring adherence to company processes and industry quality standards. Continuous improvement of processes. Providing leadership and line management to include allocation of work, appraisals and personal development, supporting multi-disciplinary teams and proactively resolving issues with your department. Assessing the performance of team members and providing training when required. Succession planning and recruitment to ensure project delivery. Monitoring stock levels and liaising with the procurement team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Harness & Integration Manager Educated to Degree Level or HND/ HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. A background within a similar Electrical Design role gained within a highly regulated environment (Ideally within Space industry). Previous experience of leading and managing a team. Highly organised, able to thrive in an environment with changing priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills. A strong communicator with the ability to influence. The ability to delegate work and provide support to team members.
